The lake is pear-shaped or kidney-shaped and provides some recreational activities like paddling, yachting, and boating. This lake is surrounded by snow-capped peaks on the north side, tiffin point on the south-west and Naini peak on the north-west. The lake offers the most dynamic and peaceful views during the early morning and sunset. Seven dense hills surround this lake which adds charm to this place.
