The only museum at Agatti island, Lakshadweep is famous for displaying massive artefacts of ancient jars, gold coins, wooden chests and also enchanting display of the bust of great Lord Buddha which belong the period from 9th to 12th century.
The Golden Jubilee Museum is a two floor building with ground floor dedicated to the display of bust of Lord Buddha. Some of the collection available at museum shows some detail information about the time before the arrival of Islam at this land.
