Elephant Beach

Well-known for its exotic marine life and beautiful corals, Elephant Beach is the main tourist attraction of Havelock. Located at a distance of around 10 km from the market, it is one of the most popular beaches in Havelock Islands for day trips. This beach was largely swept by the Tsunami in 2004 with the shoreline reduced in size. Presently, the existing beach is a fraction of what it used to be. Yet, the Elephant beach is an amazing place to visit and enjoy coral views, snorkeling and scuba diving. The place is excellent for those in search of relaxation and solitude in the lap of nature.

Emerald Gecko

Emerald Gecko is the brainchild of Lynda and Benny who gave up their city lives to make Andaman Islands their home. They also own another amazing but a little expensive resort called the wild orchid. Emerald Gecko is a place offering fantastic island hospitality and a generous heap of gourmet food. Apart from this, the cottage resort pampers its travelers with attractively designed bamboo cottages which are a true delight to stay in. Amongst the various types of accommodation available, the most luxurious are the 2 stories spacious bamboo lodges with a veranda overlooking the sea. Fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling are also organized by the resort.

Full Moon Cafe

Run by an Irish- Indian couple, the Full moon Cafe is a cool thatched-roof restaurant sharing a site with Dive India on Beach 5. The friendly staff, cheap and yummy food, view of the beach- there is no place that brings all these together like the Full Moon Cafe. The menu is remarkable and extensive with variety of delicious mid ranged local and continental cuisines. From the freshly brewed coffee to American pancakes, from the authentic seafood to delectable desserts, all items are freshly prepared on order. The ambiance is pretty cozy with comfortable sofas, pleasant music and dim ambient lighting. A pint of chilled beer accompanied with great food and music would make you want to own this place.
