1. Surkanda Devi Temple
It is one of the pious places to see in Dhanaulti. Located amidst the lofty ranges, this ancient temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and is one among the famous Shakti Piths. It is a popular destination among the trekkers because it lies in a close proximity to Kaddukhal Village, which is a trekking zone.
2. The Dashavatar Temple
Once known as Panchayatan Temple, this temple was built by the Gupta Empire and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The USP of this temple is the beautifully sculpted panels with the terraced basement. What’s more! The temple reflects the Vaishnava mythology in its true sense. There are other temples too located in Dhanaulti, but it is one of the best.
3. Deogarh Fort

5. Potato Park
The park is popularly referred to as Aloo Khet. It is actually a land where the potatoes are cultivated. This park is a joint effort between government and private farmers and is a must visit tourist destination in Dhanaulti. Do take your kids along with you, as there are plenty of things to learn and see. Above all, the farm offers lovely sunrise and sunset view. It remains open from 9 am to 6 pm. Entry fees for an adult is Rs 25 and Rs 10 for children.
6. Camp Thangdhar
The camps are definitely the best to explore the nature’s beauty. Needless to say, they are equipped with the modern amenities to make you feel relaxed. Starting from bird watching to star gazing to outdoor activities, these camps are an oasis of comfort to the travelers. The check in timings is from 9 am to 9 pm. The entry fee is Rs 2000 per person and Rs 1500 for a group.
7. Tehri Dam
The abundant greenery makes it a perfect tourist destination. Located in the midst of the hills and at a little distance from Dhanaulti, it is an excellent destination to enjoy the water activities.
8. Chanderi Town
