The call for adventure and adrenaline in annapurna base camp

The annapurna base camp is one of the most favorite destinations for trekkers across India and abroad. The camp is based around the Annapurna Sanctuary. It is a spellbound and majestic range of mountain that is situated in the Northern Pokhara.  The whole range of the mountain harbors the tenth highest peak in the world, Mt. Annapurna. It is about 8091 m. in height.  annapurna base camp is also infamous for one of the highest rate of fatality among the mountaineering trekking.  But of all the risks and dangers, once you climb the hilltop, you will witness a spectacular and spellbound view which you can never forget in this life.

The ascension to the ultimate heights

The valley is surrounded by one of the most popular peaks of Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South and Machapuchhre. Start your annapurna base Camp Trek Route of spectacle by taking the way of Sinuwa. As you reach Dovan, you will get to view of the majestic Machapuchhre. Finally, next, you need to hover through the greeneries of Deurali and Himalaya and finally be ready to climb the first range, Machapuchhre.  For the stay at the night time, go for the small lodges at the foothills of the annapurna base camp.   After reaching the point of the glacier, you will witness the rest of the three ranges in a chained manner. On the way to annapurna base camp trek 7 days, you can also do another small adventure at Komrong standing at 7,380 m.

Amidst all the ranges, Machapuchchre, the ‘fish-tailed mountain’ is the place of worship for the local Nepalese. It is considered to be the infamous resting place of Lord Shiva and yet not officially summited.

Amidst the greeneries in the lap of the snow

The annapurna Base Camp Trek Route can be divided into total three routes. You have to travel amidst the thick vegetation of the mountain forest of Himalayas. Experience a night atmosphere even in broad daylight. That is because the wood is profoundly thick and dense with the very little scope of entering of sunlight.  The whole program can be deemed as annapurna base camp trek 7 days. At the first step, you need to Chomrung and take a straight cut move towards New Bridge.  On that heading towards Sinua, you have to cross through the Modi Khola River. You can hear the rumbling flowing sound as it is hidden under the dense greenery.

Finally, at the end of the bridge, you will eventually reach the Bamboo point and then again amidst the way towards Dovan.  The fascinating factor of this trekking is that it is a treat for both mountain lovers and forest lovers. The forest is known as Annapurna Conservation Area. It is a hub of a variety of vegetation like bamboo, tall oak tree, rhododendron, fern and many more different plantations which you will find here only. It is a nest to some about 474 species of birds and 1226 species of plants and trees. Additionally, with the adjacent river, it is also home to large number mammals, amphibians, and reptiles which are a rare one.

Taste the local flavor and uniformity

You will be amazed to know that the annapurna base camp trekking is not a uniform thing. Yes, the best part of annapurna base camp is that if you are not into more laborious adventure and just want a peak of trekking, then you can always opt for Nayapul-Ghorepani-Ghandruk trail. You can even trek here with your family and the children making a happy, adventurous family trip. Half of your exhaustion during annapurna base camp trekking will be erased if you taste the authentic and warm Nepali food of the base camp. The lodges in this trekking region also offer hot showers where you can let down all your tiredness at one wash.

Season-best for traveling

The annapurna base camp is generally open for all the season. Still, it is advisable not to visit during peak winter season for the avalanche risk. If you travel during spring, then you can enjoy the full bloom at the forest.
